Happy Live, Show Up! Pechka and Karentia Route - Elena and Pechka are so cute!
I just completed Karentia's and Pechka's personal routes, and I wanted to make another post to talk about them before delving into Clarice and Roo. I have to preface it by saying that it wasn't really a great experience because the routes turned out to be extremely small and without much development for the heroines.
My first one was Karentia, and boy, was it a slog to go through, to the point that I wondered why I was reading this visual novel in the first place. Her story follows the traditional "stranded in a city" trope, leading to a stay in the hotel, a declaration of love from Akito, and so on.

I feared that this would lead toward something cringe, and behold, her father appears, causing a fuss and asking them to separate, only to be convinced by Karentia that they can survive without him worrying about their well-being. If you think the first half was Karentia being clueless and the second half was spent convincing her dad, I felt there was literally no point in the whole story.
Pechka, however, managed to reignite my hope and interest in the game with a reasonably interesting storyline in her route. Nothing revolutionary, but it works and showed some growth in the heroine. The story is centered around her best friend and the trauma she carries about being the "cause" of the club she was in disbanding.

She finds her friend Elena working at her first experience as a professional actor and wants to say sorry. After various tribulations and Akito's help, they manage to make up and are back to being friends. Not only that, but Pechka also finds her own dream, which is to become a clothes designer, something for which she showed much talent during the common route.
It had a solid base of a story set in the common route, and it developed toward a conclusion without too much of a hitch. It was simple, yes, but I left the route ending with a smile on my face, and that's already good enough for me. Plus, I really liked Elena's character; she has a foul mouth, but that's a good match considering Pechka is the same.

Next, I'm going to go with Clarice; I'm expecting much regarding her fear of males and how it connects to Akito. What is going to be the key for her to overcome that? Plus, what was the cause? There's plenty of possibly interesting drama that can come out of it if the writers are willing.
