NTE Neverness to Everness A Legendary(?) Band's First Page

As I was going through the content in NTE trying to catch up with all the various quests, I came across a side story titled "A Legendary(?) Band's First Page." Initially, I wasn't expecting much out of it, especially since Haniel was the protagonist and I don't really like her that much.

But the moment we entered the StarSign to play around, I immediately fell in love with a character working as a bartender there named Akane Rin. She was clearly a fully designed model similar to the playable ones, and way different from the usual NPC models we've seen so far.

Akane kind of remind me of Claret that is going to be released in ZZZ soon. Akane is way less tsundere though compared to her

Casual clothes Akane is quite simple, but effective. She's beautiful, but doesn't strike as provocative like other characters.

She's sort of an older sister to Haniel in the way she always cares for her, though Haniel's energy is always hard to keep under control. As the group expands with the addition of Nanally and starts performing better and better, even Akane is moved enough to join their band, forming "The Whoots!!!!"

The storyline around Akane is pretty standard, featuring a past with an old band that broke up for various reasons, but she never lost her fire for performing. Somehow, though, it managed to grab me. Having Ikumi Hasegawa as the seiyuu is definitely a big part of that, as I loved her role as Übel in Sousou no Frieren.

After the first show in the StarSign I wasn't expecting them to do it again, but this time as a full blown concerto. Amazed and I hope they keep up with this quality. View video page

The story has a happy ending with them performing at the Night of Moondog and Akane making up with her two old bandmates. They even had a full-blown concerto that you can see in the attached video. NTE is kind of weird with these side stories because they range from utterly boring to extremely interesting, with very little in between.

Now my question is all about her playable status. She's not an anomaly hunter, but the ways of the gacha are infinite, and I would really love having her on the team. I've searched online, and it seems like I was not the only one impressed by her performance, so maybe...

Akane's stage outfit is also absolutely gorgeous. Shame they didn't create new outfits for the other members too...

I still don't really like Haniel, but I've learned to keep up with her energy. I guess that's how she managed to get Akane?

Either way, I'm still catching up with content in NTE, and I hope to be able to say "I'm done" soon, but who knows how long that'll take. Now I really need to go kill that dragon in the 999 Nights minigame. I kind of stopped there and never finished it...
