Bad Girl Ep.1-4 - Suzu x Yuu is the perfect pair! ...but Rura too...
Bad Girl is an anime series that aired between July 6, 2025, and September 21, 2025, with 12 episodes, based on a manga with the same name written and illustrated by Nikumaru in the famous slice-of-life publication "Manga Time Kirara Carat," where most of the popular slice-of-life series end up starting.
I've been interested in the premise since back when it aired, but I never made the move to start it until a few days ago, and boy, I can't believe I waited this long to actually enter this world. The series is amazing and basically a checkbox exercise of everything that I love in slice-of-life series.

Cute art style? Check! Charming characters? Check! Lighthearted atmosphere? Check! Light yuri between the girls? Check! Lots of comedy? Check! I could go on forever adding more to this list, but let's step back a little and talk about what this series is all about.
The story follows Yuutani Yuu, a girl who has always behaved at school. As a result of that (at least in her mind), she hasn't been able to interact with her idol, the beautiful Public Decency Officer Mizutori Atori, and she decided it's time for a change to get closer to her. What change? Of course, to become a Bad Girl (hence the title).

Of course, she's a bona fide good girl, so she simply can't do anything bad really, but her actions are enough to grab the attention of Atori, and a weird friendship starts. Together with her childhood friend Suzukaze Suzu (who is CLEARLY in love with Yuu) and the VTuber idol Ruriha Ruri, they live their school life with funny skits and cute scenes.
There are also other characters that get added from time to time as supporting ones, like the kindergarten girls guided by the charismatic Komari Maria, who form a fan club for Atori and initially antagonize Yuu. It doesn't take long before they realize Yuu's potential and make her their chairwoman, though...

I'm honestly not a huge fan of Atori, and I can't see the huge charm that Yuu feels, especially when there's Suzu right beside her and she's utterly gorgeous. A beautiful blonde with blue eyes, acting gal-ish, but extremely attached to Yuu, trying to get close to her without showing her real feelings too much.
In these four episodes, we haven't seen much of Rura, so I can't judge her much, but she seems to be a good addition because she works outside of the love triangle between Atori, Suzu, and Yuu. Of course, it doesn't mean she can't join them, though... I wouldn't stop her...

Either way, I can't say much more than "stop everything you're doing and go watch this." It's a slice-of-life series that will remain in history. I'll keep watching and probably make another post in four episodes and then one more at the end of the series!
