Ghost Concert: Missing Songs Ep.02 - Wait Tesla is here too? Childhood friends!
Episode 02 of Ghost Concert: Missing Songs continues flowing from the first episode with the beginning of Seria Aiba's new life after she publicly "died". It turns out the app MiucS is not just an app, but the system controlling the entire society, and it has full power to murder anyone without questions asked.
Seria had the chip removed by Setsutei, and she technically "doesn't exist anymore" for the system, which grants her some level of freedom even though she's still targeted because of her innate abilities. It's the usual power struggle to get control of powerful individuals, and Seria is caught in the middle because of her powers.

My suspicions about Kaede were right, and it looks like she's a childhood friend of Seria. They were separated because it seems their powers resonated when close. It's clear that Kaede cares a lot about her even now, and her attention is easily going to move beyond friendship considering how these series usually go.
The other heroines got a bit of screen time, but honestly, it's hard to get a grasp on their personalities as they only got a few lines at most. I'm assuming they will only become more important when it's time to actually delve into their backstories. So far, I can only identify them as "mom-like" (Aoki Riku), cool kid (Ichikawa Rui), and mischievous kid (Murayama Shuri), but I'm sure they're more than just that.
On the plot side, I don't think I understood even half of the technobabble they've been talking about in this episode regarding Seria, the various factions, and their motives and interests. I got the gist of it, but when they go in-depth talking about this or that, pulling random names, it kind of breaks me.
The opponent this week was Nikola Tesla, who was controlled by the enemy faction to try and capture Seria, but thanks to the intervention of Caesar, Cleopatra, etc., from the previous episode, she managed to escape capture and cleanse him. How did she cleanse him, you say?

Of course, it's by making a duet song with him. When he started to burst into singing, I kind of laughed, but then Seria joined, and the song proved to be actually very good. If they keep releasing new amazing songs every week, this could become my playlist for music in the future.
