It may come as a surprise, but this is literally the first time I've watched Girls und Panzer despite the incredible popularity of the franchise. I always wanted to give it a shot, but for one reason or another I never ended up doing it.

I knew some of the cast from doujins (*looks away*) and other materials, but actually getting to know them was quite an experience.

The main TV series was enjoyable, even if I had to disable the brain for some of the parts related to the tanks. I tried to consider it like your everyday "club story" and, as such, it worked great because it had all the right elements to become popular

Cute, charming and energetic characters with well defined tropes to follow. Great voice acting and of course amazing animation all around even during the battles.

I still need to watch the movies which I hope to get through in the coming weeks (I'm a slow watcher recently). Hopefully they'll keep up the fun going.
