Honey Trap Shared House Vol 9 - Who is Angelica?! Seraphy related?
Volume 9 of Honey Trap Shared House wraps up the seiyuu/actress detour adventure for Seraphy, Hyoka, and Asha, but it doesn't stop the cliffhanger train, adding a new character and plenty of questions about what will happen in the next volume.
The idol arc plays out pretty much as you would expect: some training, a livestream fail where their real personalities leak to the public, leading to even more popularity, and so on. Seraphy is eventually forced to leave the group because her faction was already planning to promote her worldwide, and she doesn't really want to leave Hayato's side.

During the movie shoot, pretty much all the characters appear, including Emily and her companions, but more importantly Rumi, who is apparently just a girl like any other and was interested in playing the shinobi role. The hilarious part is when she's pitted against Maria and they "act out" a battle during the shoot, ending up half-naked as a result.
Rumi continues to give me that "kukkoro" vibe whenever she appears in a scene. Nothing actually happens, but her visual design, speech patterns, and role in the story all point to that archetype, which makes me perk up whenever a scene focuses on her.

The end result is sort of a return to the status quo, but with some important development for Asha. She was a heroine without much of a personal life or motivation outside of her role as a spy, but she found one in her passion for livestreaming. It fits her younger, more modern character. She needs to be careful about people online, as she's very pure and easy to deceive. We love her for that, though.
The main enemies from Cthulhu appear again, but there's no real development on that front that adds nuance to their role. A new operative is introduced who seems to be active in Japan, but the story ends with him dying at the hands of John Bider, who wanted to be the only agent working in the region.

The volume ends with Angelica appearing at the shared house. She's apparently related to Seraphy, but she was supposed to have died long ago on a mission. What really happened to her? Why is she appearing now? Is she a heroine or an enemy? Also, is she as adorable as Seraphy? She looks like the cool, serious type at first glance, but we know appearances can be deceiving here...
