Ore no Sugata ga, Toumei ni?! - Ame is too strong, but Chitose wasn't bad.

Ore no Sugata ga, Toumei ni!? Invisible to Suuki na Unmei (俺の姿が、透明に!? 不可視の薬と数奇な運命) is a visual novel developed by Hulotte. It is part of a series of titles that uses specific gimmicks as the foundation for the story setting (time stop, invisibility, etc...).

In this case, the story revolves around the protagonist, Matsuyuki Haruki, receiving a special set of pills from his favorite VTuber idol, Kuzunoha Chitose. These pills allow him to turn invisible to everyone else in the world, provided he follows a specific set of rules.

Chitose is here! Time to take your pills!Chitose is here! Time to take your pills!

He can only use one pill per day, and he must avoid touching any other living being because that is the trigger that completely disables the invisibility. The first thing he does with them? Naturally, he goes to peek on his cousin Ame taking a bath. That is where he accidentally overhears her confessing that she is in love with him.

From there, his adventures begin with these pills and the mysterious Chitose, who seems to appear out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly. The visual novel is a typical chara-ge, which means the focus is entirely on the heroines' personal stories and their experiences with the protagonist.

Gal playing! Gal playing!
She's downright adorable here! She's downright adorable here!

You can expect lots of ecchi scenes and generally your usual romantic comedy events with each of the girls. You know, swimsuit episodes, school festival, athletic festival, etc... the usual lot, but powered up by the presence of the invisibility gimmick to make them more fun.

The visual novel also goes into detail regarding the overarching plot about the invisibility pills in the final route focused on Chitose. This ensures nothing is left unexplained at the end. It is still sort of her personal story, but it brings a proper conclusion to the visual novel as a whole.

Admittedly she's quite huge, but her reaction was hilarious to seeing her live. View video page

There are five heroines in total:

Matsuyuki Ame

The protagonist's cousin. She is totally in love with him and ready to do pretty much everything for him. However, she seems to be extremely against the idea of actually going out with him. The reason seems to be based on some event in the past that the protagonist has forgotten altogether.

Ayame Nayuri

The student council president and the protagonist's friend. She is stunningly beautiful, very intelligent, popular, and loves getting students involved in school activities.

Very mood girl! Very mood girl!

Takashiro Towa

A gyaru, but one who is extremely soft and approachable. She loves playing smartphone games and has easily the most "friend"-like personality toward the protagonist.

Yotsuba Kohaku

Ame's friend and the daughter of the owners of a Japanese inn. She is quiet and reserved. She is a typical cool-type character but seems to hide some huge trauma from her past.

Kuzunoha Chitose

The ultra-popular VTuber idol that the protagonist adores. She is bright and cheerful, sometimes foul-mouthed, and is generally the source of most of the funny comedy scenes (as you can see from the video attached to this post).

President is so huge! President is so huge!
Ame PUNCH! Ame PUNCH!

My favorite is a toss-up between Ame and Kohaku. Generally speaking, I prefer Kohaku's personality type, voice, and looks, but Ame's dedication to the protagonist is really hard to ignore. Overall, all the characters are interesting, and it is a nice change of pace that there are no antagonists of any kind.

I suggest this visual novel if you want an average-length (around 30 hours) chara-ge with a low level of drama. It is generally focused on comedy, ecchi fun, and entertaining small skits.
