Corposant's new dolls Alva and Voymastina
With all the new content appearing in various games, I haven't managed to dedicate as much time as I wanted to Girls' Frontline 2. However, I want to make sure everyone knows that I am still playing and enjoying the content as it is released, even if I cannot make new posts on the main blog for now.
This latest event has been quite a surprise in terms of both its narrative and its scale, as it is a massive three-part event with fully voiced content that takes a significant amount of time to complete. The story returns to the origins of the franchise, moving away from the usual bounty hunting to focus instead on the clash between three different forces: the Commander's forces, the cult faction Paradeus, and the rogue elite echelon Task Force DEFY. Aside from Voymastina, Alva, and Balthilde, we see returning characters like Klukai, Suomi, and Sabrina, which gives fans plenty to cheer for.
I believe Girls' Frontline 2 continues to deliver great content. It is interesting to see the new skills being introduced, such as Voymastina attacking everyone with 100% AoE physical damage the moment she joins the field. At the same time, I feel that some of the hype from the initial launch has faded and the game is currently in a lull. With so many new gacha games being released this year, such as Endfield and NTE, it will be difficult for the game to attract new players.
