Where waves meet the reef

Genshin Impact

It's been a hectic few days with lots of things that ended up making me fall behind on almost every gacha game that i've been playing, but now all is good and I'm back at the catch-up game. The first one I handled was Genshin Impact with the "where waves meet the reef" event which follows the traditional Genshin Impact style event. Some sweet story following an NPC character and many old characters reappearing to give their help.

This time it was both Fontaine (Navia and Chevreuse) and Liyue (Yelan) with, of course, many of the Nod Krai characters. I really like how the affinity between Jahoda and Aino/Ineffa continues to be central. I do not lie, Jahoda is my favorite character of the Nod Krai region and I really like every event she's in. I wish we'd get some dedicated companion story for her, but the curse of being a 4* is harsh.

For the story itself nothing much to say, it was the usual. Comically evil guy (the weapon seller), the misunderstood character (the weapon resercher) and the tear-jerking ending with everyone getting the happy end (or bad end for the enemy) that they deserve. It's serviceable, but nothing that really calls home compared to the main story.

Next patch is going to be the big one so I need to be prepared, Dottore seems to come back and invade Sumeru. Plus we're just one patch away from Sandrone return too, it's crazy moment in Genshin and I'm excited about the future. Now back to gaming, I need to cover so many other games!

I'll be honest, the dynamics between Jahoda and Aino/Ineffa are amazing even without considering the whole shipping that happens online between Jahoda and Ineffa

Happy end for everyone, it's a classic in Genshin Impact, but it still works as you're used to it. It was nice to see Navia back into the fray.
