Amphoreus, that was really epic from start to finishNov 5, 2025, 12:20:15 PM

And here I am after completing the entire story of this patch which brings closure to the Amphoreus story. It was a long journey and I remember I didn't like much the setting in the first few patches, it felt dragging and there wasn't that excitement I felt with Jarilo or Penacony.

Things only started to take speed for me a bit with the Tribios related story (backstory and Trianne) and then got amazing with the Hyacine story with the Aquila battle and the amazing song Proi Proi that came with it. At that point is was a crescendo of emotions.

Phainon is still not much of a liked character for me, mainly because of how plain he felt in the first half with his "hero" archetype. It was better as his real role got revealed, but still felt flat compared to some other characters.

The heroes of Amphoreus

But going back to the current patch, Herta finally got her place to shine as a genius with her handling of Irontomb. Quite a few cool scenes with her showing off to everyone, including the other geniuses. A bit of a shame that the space battle didn't get enough of a spotlight as it could've been more visually stunning.

Each hero having their moment to shine along the story was also nice, especially for some of the early ones (Mydey for example) that never got enough time to be visible in the story and most people (including me) kind of forgotten about them almost at all.

I was also amazed when Nous directly gazed us and asked a series of questions. It really shows that we don't know much about the role of the protagonist yet and there's so many secrets still abound. Kafka and the other Stellaron Hunters must know more, but the script probably don't allow them to talk...yet

The journey The journey continues Infinite Cyrene She's a goddess

Cyrene of course is the protagonist of this patch, showing her resolve to save everyone and give an happy end even if that causes her to betray her best partner. Amphoreus is now materialized as memoria, but not yet become "real". Will they do that in an upcoming patch or delay that for a future chapter?

Herta clearly says that the fate of Cyrene is linked to the fourth Instant that Nous calculated so the whole ordeal is not over yet. Just what will be their role in the grand scale of things? I really hope we can get back to Amphoreus (real this time) and pass some time doing fun stuff with the heroes in the future.

So adorable! I want to take them home I sure hope they manage to achieve that Cyrene is so beautiful Dance! Sing!

Now I'm left with kind of a void in the heart that I hope to fill by playing all the new events they prepared for us in this patch (plus catching up to the story of Genshin Impact and ZZZ). Currency Wars seems interesting and could be a nice time sink, but let's see once I've given it a try.

I still think the paid event with the bow giving a new animation to the Cyrene ultimate was kind of a crap move, but you win some you lose some I guess. Story was solid and I can just skip that considering it's not that huge of a deal...

Small Cyrene best Cyrene

And now onward we go toward the new chapter, where Elation will take the focus with Hanabi and Sanpo becoming more relevant than ever. I hear lots of spoilers and leaks around, but trying to stay as clean as possible to enjoy the new chapter as much as this one.
