Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society is the dungeon crawling RPG game developed by Nippon Ichi Software that act as a sequel of Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, but sporting an entire new cast and a generally more bright setting compared to the dark and oppressive of the first title.

The story follows Eureka de Soleil, a bright blonde girl as she start working and living for the house of a rich noble. She took the job without thinking, but turns out it's more complicated than she was thinking. Her employer is searching for specific piece of art hidden within a dungeon that only few can reach.

The cover art still gives those 'mysterious' feel of the original series with the shadows applied around Eureka's face. The cover art still gives those 'mysterious' feel of the original series with the shadows applied around Eureka's face.

Eureka is supposed to, through the usage of a magical lamp called "Lanterne de Fantasmagorie", send an army of minions through the portal and make them search for the piece of art that the noble is interested into. She is helped by the experience witch Madam Marta that acts as her direct superior.

There are various mysteries around the mansion though and these will need to be answered while you play the game. Like, who is the Duke and why was the mansion abandoned until recently? Why does he hate kids so much? Why there are so many people interested in this dungeon like the girl living in the roof Nachiroux Colbert?

The gameplay itself instead is pretty much identical to the original game so you can expect huge parties of up to 40 characters (15 attackers and 25 supporters) and the typical exploring around the dungeons with various mechanics, old and new. Returning are the giant dangerous enemies roaming the dungeons that you should try to avoid if possible (but they do give lots of experience).

I love how we (the player) always are on top of Eureka's head at every scene, regardless of the situation.I love how we (the player) always are on top of Eureka's head at every scene, regardless of the situation.

I've been continuing on and off playing this game over the last few months and it's a huge difference compared to the previous title when it comes to mood, but there's always this "mystery" that keeps you on your toes thinking "oh this isn't going to go that way right?".

Eureka really shines as a protagonist of the story because she feels like a grown up Luca from the first game. Aside from the blonde hair, she also has the same carefree personality and extremely cute voice. I could listen to her all day without any problem.
