Kanan-sama ha Akumade Choroi vol 11,12 - Tekka x Jeanne yuri?! Count me in!
Volumes 11 and 12 of Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi continue from where we left off, with Kanan finally declaring her love for Youji and the two becoming practically a couple in all but name. The issue is that both are completely unaware of what the next steps are after declaring their feelings, and they are quite confused about it.
Kanan tries to act nonchalant, but she is very easy to read, which causes the other heroines, Jeanne and Tekka, to feel threatened and move to press their advantage with Youji. You know it just leads to the usual comedy and fanservice scenes that we have come to love from this series.

Among the many skits, there were a few that I particularly liked. The first was about Jeanne wanting a smartphone but not having the money to buy one. Kanan decides to get it for her, and you can see the joy in Jeanne's eyes as she takes photos and writes to Kanan about it (who eventually blocks her for spamming).
Jeanne is a character who is really difficult to hate because she is so innocent; even Kanan, who is a rival, cannot directly do anything against her because she just feels bad about it. Oh, she also received approval from Mika, the archangel, to pursue Youji officially; they do not mind it at all.

Speaking of Jeanne, the second skit I liked was between her and Tekka. Apparently, Jeanne is very weak to alcohol, and after an evening of drinking (and some hints given by her friend), she decides it is time to go into the room and kiss Youji. Unfortunately, he was not there, and she ends up on top of Tekka instead, thinks "why not?" and starts kissing her all night.
Tekka, despite her strength, could not do anything against the powerful angel, so yuri happened! And she actually kind of liked it too, which is great for yuri fans like us. I mean, we know that Youji is dedicated to Kanan and that will not change, so we might as well get some yuri pairings too, right?

The rest of the series was filled with interesting sections, like the dodgeball game between the student council and the morals committee, or Ami having fun playing with some little kids, which is quite outside of her usual personality. I feel the series can take it this slow and probably continue for a long time, as there is no pressure for the main plot to move forward.
At the current pace (three months per volume), the next volume should be released within this month of April, which means we should be able to read it within a few weeks. While I am not looking forward to any definitive development, I am longing to get more scenes with the heroines, so I cannot wait for it.
