Mayonaka Heart Tune Ep.06 - Rikka's outfit was good admittedly. Good job Arisu!
Episode 6 of Mayonaka Heart Tune (真夜中ハートチューン) continues with a very lighthearted episode focusing on the after-party for the big event the Broadcasting Club just held. Of course, everything took place at Lemon's house, and she even paid for the drinks and sweets! Such a good teacher!
The main segment of the episode was mostly showing how all the girls have completely fallen in love with Yamabuki. There is a sequence where each heroine ends up alone with Yamabuki while he is sleeping. A new heroine enters, the previous heroine hides, and the cycle repeats until they are all discovered by Rikka at the end. All of this happens while Yamabuki is sound asleep.

It was classic romantic comedy fun, and it is good to clarify that their feelings weren't just a fleeting thought from the moment they were helped by him. Instead, they are all serious about pursuing him romantically. To be honest, I don't think Yamabuki really sees any of them that way yet.
There is also a continuation of the previous episode's cliffhanger scene with Yamabuki talking to Apollo through a string phone. In the end, Yamabuki refused Apollo's proposal to reveal herself. Instead, he stated that he has a new goal in life, which is to become a producer. He wants to produce all four girls and help them become professionals, and he is going to keep doing that regardless of who Apollo is.
That was quite cool, even though my hunch still makes me believe all four of them are Apollo. That revelation would make the series much better. I mean, it is either that or Rikka, to be honest. She is the only one with the aura to pull off keeping her identity hidden for all this time without being detected.
In the next episode, I guess we will go back to Rikka so the final heroine's issues can be explored and solved. She already briefly mentioned in this episode that she is blocked in her songwriting, which means it is time for Yamabuki to jump in and work his magic to help her out.

The real question that bugs me is what happens after that. Will they go back to a round-robin format to talk about the other heroines, or will the focus shift more toward the secret of Apollo? We are technically still halfway through the show, and it feels early for a reveal of any sort, assuming they even make one. I really need to start buying the manga so I can start reading that as well once the anime finishes.
