Whoa, was Mashiro that naggy?

Tayutama

I'm well into the story now (well, a few hours in at the very least) and I'm finding Mashiro to be downright insufferable with her "I'm the wife" act. Like in my heart I understand that she's acting the old-school wife that scolds her husband when he's lazying around, but the intensity and frequency of these makes her look outright painful to be around. She appeared out of nowhere, declared herself the wife and wake the MC up at 06:00 AM to train and beat him up hard until night, I'm not sure protagonist is winning here...

The other three girls haven't been explored much yet aside from beginning the Yumina's plight of being stuck in that girls only school together with Mifuyu. I'm honestly still unsure how protagonist gets to interact with them much considering the distance.

Remember I have very low memories of what happened in the series, but one thing I clearly remember is that Mashiro's aversion for Amery was based on something related to Ameri's birth and not strictly about Ameri as a girl. Like she's related with the other spirits or something? Can't remember precisely, but surely we'll get more to know about it soon as I'm deliberately targeting Ameri's route first as she's the one I'm liking the most so far.

The fluffiness of Mashiro's ears is one of the greatest gift this visual novel has given to humanity. Just look at them, doesn't make you want to touch?!
