Chaos Zero Nightmare S2 Part 3 - Rita and the Empire. That final scene...
Rita has been released in Chaos Zero Nightmare, along with the third and final part of the Season 3 story. The narrative continues from where we left off, with our group facing Tiana, who seems to be possessed by a monstrous entity and is unable to even recognize her sister, Tiphera.
Unlike recent chapters that focused almost entirely on the character linked to the patch, in this case Rita, the focus this time continues to be on Tiphera and Tiana. The story delves deep into Tiana’s past and explains what happened to her after Tiphera left her.

It appears the Empire recruited her for other purposes and allowed her to research ways to solve the problems caused by Chaos. Eventually, this led her to attract the attention of some extremely suspicious members of the Empire, who brought her to this planet and the situation she is currently in.
In the real world, Tiphera, with the help of Protos, manages to defeat the monster, free Tiana, and resolve the situation. In the end, Tiana, Nina, and Tiphera all become part of the ship's crew, much to Renoa’s dismay over having so many new romantic rivals.

Rita is technically stuck in another dimension along with Ivy, but she can communicate with Protos just fine, so it is not a dire situation. The teasing following the emotional scene was hilarious. Not much has been explained about her yet, aside from the fact that she is using a deity’s power.
It was refreshing to see the story focus more on building characters instead of just following a "heroine of the week" approach, even though I feel the narrative is still quite light even by gacha standards. The concepts are good, but there is not enough fleshing out, which makes the plot feel thin.

I recall that they were going to rewrite the first chapters of the main story after the big controversy surrounding the release. I believe that is when a decision will be made about the direction of the story. Will they try to build a more plot-heavy narrative, or will they continue with the vaguely connected chapters we have now?
The game is still successful enough that budget should not be a concern, but if they keep delaying, the game will eventually fade away. For now, I will go back to the farming mines to try and get a good save for Rita. She seems to work just fine with Tiphera and Nine, so I may try that team next.
