Marriagetoxin Ep.10 - Shizuku is such a tsundere. Kimie! Keep fighting!

Episode 10 of Marriagetoxin continues with Kimie's story, making it clear that there's not going to be any other major arc in this first season of the series. I was expecting them to complete Kimie's story this week, but delaying it makes it even better, as they have time to delve into her backstory.

Apparently, Kimie was saved as a child by Gero and has been idolizing him ever since. She never had a chance to interact with him directly until now, purely because of the significant status difference between his family and hers. Now that the barrier is down, however, Kimie is honestly the person I feel is the best fit for Gero (next to Mei, if she were actually a woman). Her quirky personality seems to be the perfect one to lead Gero away from his past.

Just look at this absolutely adorable reaction from Shizuku. She went up a few tiers just with this scene for me.

I like how Kimie's reaction hasn't changed much since she was a kid. She's much older now, but still that smile.

Ushio Shizuku appearing as a friendly character was a surprising addition and, honestly, a great one, as it adds her to the pool of potential marriage candidates without feeling forced. She is technically there for a job, paid by Mei, and the fact that she looks and acts like the typical tsundere heroine is purely coincidental.

Kimie's power is turning out to be much more useful than she originally admitted. Using the network of hamsters to connect, communicate, and map areas is extremely useful, and I genuinely wonder if the other members of the beast clan are idiots, as it could easily be used in any mission.

Wait, she kept the hamster where? Her mouth seemed completely normal until before that. Surely she couldn't... right? View video page

I'm speculating that Gero might be using the "triple toxin" thing he mentioned this week. Just as he accepted eating food cooked by someone else (Kimie), that would be another way for him to defy the oppressive teachings of the people around him back when he was young.

How to survive the side effects is the question, though because last time it didn't exactly go well. Also, what role is Nakagawa Piichi going to have? He was portrayed as incredibly strong, but he hasn't really done much in this story arc so far. Are they keeping him for something later?

The gap between her being hot and her personality being that silly is just perfect. Plus she can be badass too. Perfect wife!

Badass Kimie is ready to some some spanking of the evil guy. How is the question, raising everyone in the prison is enough I wonder?

Next week we'll see the fall of Dogo Toshirou and, as predicted, Kimie will be the main architect of his downfall. The question that remains is what happens next. With only two episodes left after that, perhaps a reunion of all the heroines in a lighthearted environment?
