Yankee JK Kazuhana-chan Vol 15,16 - Test of courage! Usagi is surprisingly strong.
Volumes 15 and 16 of Yankee JK Kuzuhana-chan (ヤンキーJKクズハナちゃん) continue from where the previous volume left off, featuring another set of swimsuit-centered chapters during the school trip. The competition between the new first-year students and the existing classmates for Saotome’s attention is intensifying.
This escalates when Aoi fails to get enough time to talk with Saotome, prompting her friends to start a pillow fight against the first-years. The results initially seem definitive due to the superiority of the older girls, until Hanako joins the fray to support the first-years because she dislikes how one-sided the fight has become.

Surprisingly, despite defeating almost all the other girls, Hanako loses at the end due to a wardrobe malfunction. This gives Aoi free reign to spend some time alone with Saotome. Of course, Saotome remains completely oblivious to all the machinations happening in the background.
Next, we get some scenes of Aoi and Saotome interacting at the sea. It is mostly innocent conversation, but it seems Saotome is starting to notice the charm of the other girls and often finds himself unable to look away. Mai also shares a few moments with Saotome, further deepening their bond.

Then comes the time for the classic summer event known as the "Test of Courage." This is the usual stroll through a forest in pairs to test their bravery by visiting a shrine or just going to a specific predetermined location. It is a trope seen in almost every anime series since the dawn of time.
This time, all the girls are incredibly excited and want to be the one paired with Saotome, but a surprising challenger appears. Usagi Kanae, the first-year student introduced in the last volume, ends up being the top choice for the event after being provoked by the other girls.

She has begun to understand that Saotome may not be the pervert she imagined. Instead, she realizes that the real perverts are the girls surrounding him. To prevent any improper events from occurring during the school trip, she decides to sacrifice herself and go with him. The other girls try to stop her, but her question, "Can you promise that you wouldn't do anything to him?" is enough to silence them.
The test itself ends in total disaster as the other girls try to scare Kanae away so they can take her place. This leads to a sequence of subsequent switches where almost all the girls get some time with Saotome, concluding with the main heroine, Hanako.

Now that everyone has returned from the trip, it seems one of the original heroines is ready to make her move. Under the pretext of adjusting her clothes, Yuna visits Saotome’s house and meets his parents, who seem to be quite entertaining. The volume ends with them heading to his room, leaving me wondering what will happen next. Will Saotome be able to resist Yuna’s advances?
