Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita no de, Kokuhaku Shitemita Ep.03 - Wait, Vice Guild Master?!
Episode 3 of Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita no de, Kokuhaku Shitemita (勇者パーティーにかわいい子がいたので、告白してみた) reveals who the girl was that Raven (the swordsman of the Hero Party) wanted to confess to last week. Initially, I thought it was just Youki and that there was no girl in the first place, but it looks like I was wrong.
Happiness (Youki's comrade from back when he worked for the Demon Lord) is the one Raven fell in love with after saving her from some thugs in the streets. He has been unable to show his feelings due to the insecurity he has regarding his feminine voice. Youki decides to help him and acts as a sort of cupid for the two.

The girl is a harpy hiding as a human and has often been a target for adventurers trying to capture her to sell as a slave or to get her feathers. Therefore, she is reluctant to interact with humans, and it will take time before she can fully trust someone. Raven at least manages to get a starting point by promising to become friends, though, so that is a step in the right direction.
We also got the revelation that the lazy guy at the guild whom Youki kept pestering when accepting quests was actually the Vice Guild Master and quite an important person. He is also the husband of the head maid of Cecilia's house! This world sure is small, isn't it?
It seems like the next episode will start tackling more of the relationships within the Hero Party to address the issues Mikana is having with her feelings of guilt over "selling off the Priestess to protect the Hero's honor" during the battle against Youki in the first episode.
It is kind of a complicated situation because while everything worked out alright, if it had happened with another demon, things wouldn't have ended so nicely for Cecilia. Plus, there is the situation with the Hero trying to marry Cecilia that needs to be addressed. He looks extremely superficial in his approach, but now I wonder if it is maybe a facade and he is really thinking about that decision to leave her behind?

Mikana continues to be at the top for my "personal favorite character" of this series. Her character design is gorgeous (I quite liked the glasses in this episode), and I found her voice (Natsuyoshi Yuuko) extremely pleasant to listen to. I searched online, and I don't think I know any other roles the seiyuu has done, but I have to try some of those series just to see if it is the same.
This anime is still decent, but I am unable to see where they want to go with the story. Is it just going to be a slow crawl of these comedy scenes, or is there something bigger on the horizon?
