Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita no de, Kokuhaku Shitemita Ep.06 - Sophia's powers!
Episode 6 of the anime series Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita no de, Kokuhaku Shitemita (勇者パーティーにかわいい子がいたので、告白してみた) returns to the series' roots with an adventure-focused episode. It centers on Teal and Guy (the Gargoyle), the two characters introduced last week.
We already knew that Teal was sick, but I honestly didn't expect her condition to worsen so significantly and so quickly. Her life was at risk, which forced Youki and Cecilia, along with Sophia and Clayman, to go on a journey to find the herbs needed to heal her while simultaneously fulfilling a monster-slaying quest for the guild.

Guy was also at risk due to the damage he received from the Hero last week. However, apparently Gargoyles can heal quickly as long as they obtain magicite before they crumble. There wasn't too much to worry about on that front, as they could gather some from the monster they were targeting.
Honestly, there was nothing much out of the ordinary here, but the developments weren't as irritating as they were last week, so I guess I will call it a positive episode. The animation quality is still pretty disastrous, but at this point, I doubt anyone expects anything better from this series.
The Hero, Miller, from the previous episode did not appear, which is a good thing. However, I am convinced this is just a lull before the end of the series when he will become the antagonist again. He seems to be the only punching bag the series has, and I am sure they are going to use him for a grand finale.
In this episode, we also get to see Sophia, the head maid of Cecilia's house, and Clayman, the Guild Master, in action. They seem to be quite powerful adventurers themselves. I wonder why they didn't participate in the quest to kill the Demon Lord in the first place, as they don't seem any weaker than the Hero Party, to be honest.

Cecilia has been warming up to Youki, and with each passing episode, I can see her getting closer and closer to him. Are we reaching the point where the two will actually start going out together, or will it be a continuous chase that doesn't end with this adaptation? The manga has 13 volumes, so I guess it must have much more content.
