Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita no de, Kokuhaku Shitemita Ep.07 - Valentine day!

Episode 6 of the anime series Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita no de, Kokuhaku Shitemita (勇者パーティーにかわいい子がいたので、告白してみた) focuses on a special Valentine's Day event, which seems to be popular with young people even in this isekai world.

The episode starts with a strange segment where Youki wears an extremely creepy costume and begins performing various high-level quests to earn money under a fake name. I never understood the appeal of these super sentai costumes, and it seems they are considered weird in this isekai world as well.

All the girls are hard at work to make the chocolate for the people they like. Cecilia of course, but also Mikana, Teal and Happiness!

Now I see why they call him Hero, eating those 'things' and still be able to say they're good requires some courage...

Regardless, one such quest involves a party of mysterious thieves who go around stealing chocolate and any related materials to prevent the event from happening. It is the usual trope used in these situations to emphasize how important it is to receive chocolate from the girl you like.

Meanwhile, the girls are crafting their own chocolates while thinking of the people they want to give them to. Pretty much all the girls are involved here, from Cecilia to even Celia and Sophia. When the day arrives, Youki is seen wandering the city, distressed because Cecilia hasn't given him anything yet while everyone else is receiving their share.

Happy end for Youki that finally get a chocolate from Cecilia. Was it worth all the pain that he went through during this episode? View video page

The thieves appear again trying to stop the celebrations and, after a small battle against a giant chocolate monster, they are defeated and reformed, and everyone is happy. This includes Youki, who finally receives chocolate from Cecilia. Honestly, I am not sure what to think about this episode. It wasn't completely bad like the one involving the Hero Miller, from the Gallis Empire, but it wasn't exactly exciting either.

I am honestly curious to try a volume of the light novel or the manga to see if these narrative issues are caused by a bad adaptation or if the original content has the same problems. I saw that the light novel only ran for three volumes, so I assume it was canceled, but the manga is still ongoing with thirteen volumes released, which is quite impressive.

I suspected it, but turns out Irene is also one of the 'girls' of the story.

I laughed when a woman called Mikana "Eternal friend" during the clash to deliver the chocolate to the hero.

At this point, I am not sure what to expect from the next episode, but since we are here, let's keep going and watch until the end. This is probably the lowest rated for me among the anime series that I've been watching in this winter season 2026.
