Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi Ep.05 - Haneda played a reverse card!
Episode 5 of Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi (人外教室の人間嫌い教師) surprises me by playing an "Uno reverse card" and changing the roles for this episode. I was expecting Haneda to be the focus because she was the only girl remaining to be explored, but I didn't expect her to start helping the protagonist instead.
Hitoma was suspicious and ready to help after she left class during the day to go to the nurse's office. However, it turns out she was alright and there was something "yearly" happening (I am guessing she was in heat). once there, she turned the situation around and started asking about what happened to him in his past instead.

This allows us to learn the truth behind why Hitoma quit being a teacher at his original school for humans. It seems he was asked for help by a student regarding a relationship problem. He was proactive in trying to help but screwed something up, which caused the student to stop coming to school.
Honestly, his traumatic experience is a lot less serious than I first expected it to be. The hints with the silhouette of the student shown in previous episodes pointed at something more fatal happening to her, but I guess the gravity of a situation depends on the person.
Now the question is whether this "solves" the situation or if it will return with more information later in the series. We still haven't received details about exactly why the student stopped coming to school or what happened to Hitoma afterward. It could be used at the end of the series as a way for him to reconcile with his past.
The episode ends with Haneda showing her singing voice to him, and it was amazing how they made it blend into the ending sequence. The voice actress voicing her is Rui Tanabe (who played Anko in Nokotan). I don't think I have ever seen her in a major role before, but she did an incredible job here.

I wonder what the next episode will focus on. Will it be an introduction of new characters or merely a pause with a fanservice episode centered around the main four girls? Or perhaps we will see more Haneda, but this time as the one being helped? I think the latter is unlikely after this episode.
