Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi Ep.07 - Neneko, Karin and Machi! Wait, Haneda is...
Episode 7 of Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi (人外教室の人間嫌い教師) introduces new characters to replenish the cast, as expected, now that the backstories of the first set of heroines have been explored. There are still two characters who have not been introduced, but I assume they will appear later in the series.
The three characters introduced are:
Ryuuzaki Karin, a former dragon who wants to become human to experience love. Apparently, she witnessed a love story between a prince and a princess where she was cast as the villain despite doing nothing of the sort, leading her to feel jealous of the prince. She is in love with Hitoma (see the attached video) because she saw him help Sui during her story arc. I quite like her character; she puts Hitoma in an uncomfortable position, which is great for storytelling.

Kurosawa Neneko, a former cat who always seems to be sleeping or looks bored with her surroundings. She wears a goth outfit and is a difficult girl to read. Among the three new characters, she definitely has the character design I like the most.
Nezu Machi, a former mouse and an extremely energetic girl who wants to become human to eat many different types of food. Wait, did they really put a mouse and a cat in the same classroom? They look like humans now, but surely they still have their original instincts.
These new additions, along with Sui, Isaki, and Haneda, make for a much more populated class, which is a blessing for the variety of scenes. Technically, Kyouka may return from time to time, as it was confirmed that graduates receive a ring like Hitoma's that allows them to return to the school and remember everything if they wish.
On top of these introductions, we received the bombshell revelation that Haneda is actually the chief director of the school, named Shiranui. She is an immortal phoenix and one of the strongest beings in the world. She has been undercover in the school she built, taking the form of Haneda to observe everyone else.

Haneda was my favorite among the original heroines, and I am not sure how to feel about this. She looks great and she is definitely hot (no pun intended), but the reveal somewhat disoriented me. It is also strange that she is technically trying to become human through the school like everyone else.
This raises further questions about the process of becoming human. If she is the one who set up the system, why would she need to go through the school herself? Is there something else we are missing? Also, what does she mean when she says she is "searching for a place to die"?

Honestly, this episode further reignited my interest in the series, and I am very excited to see what happens next week. Will we begin the personal story arcs for each newly introduced heroine, or will there be more introductions first?
