Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi Ep.09 - Time skip already? It's Isaki time...
Episode 9 of Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi (The Misanthropic Teacher in the Demi-human Class) makes an unexpected move by skipping an entire year right at the beginning. Only two weeks ago, we saw the introduction of a new school year, and now a massive time skip reveals that the year has already concluded, bringing us back to the graduation stage.
The transition was so abrupt that I wonder if the source material followed this pace or if the anime decided to accelerate the story to ensure more characters appeared. I expected some narrative shortcuts since two main characters have yet to be introduced, but I did not anticipate skipping an entire year.

This year’s graduation is for Isaki. Given that Kyouka and Neneko vanished from the main cast after their respective arcs, this is likely the last time we will see Isaki in the main story. It is a bit disappointing because Isaki was a great character, particularly when she switched into her gal mode.
The episode itself was relatively straightforward and, honestly, quite dull compared to Neneko’s emotional story last week. One of the flaws of this series, besides the inconsistent animation quality, is that it fluctuates between compelling arcs and stories that put the viewer to sleep.
Next week's episode is titled "The Misanthrope and the Comet's Pilgrimage" and I guess they will likely start the new school year and introduce the final two heroines of the main cast. One appears to be a fairy or a butterfly due to the prominent wings shown in the opening animation, but I am uncertain about the other girl.
She wears gal-style clothing simile to Isaki, but her only defining non-human trait seems to be two heart-shaped strands of hair, one pink and one blue, that frame her face. Even after some thought, I cannot guess what kind of animal or magical creature she is supposed to be.

There are four episodes remaining until the end of the anime season, and I wonder what will serve as the final arc for the series. Will the story focus on Hitoma, or will it simply be a sequence of heroine-centric episodes until the very end? Or maybe something about Haneda?
