Episode 8 of Kirei ni Shite Moraemasuka (Wash It All Away) centers entirely on swimsuits, featuring both Kinme and a new character at a hotel resort sponsored by the city hall. The episode seems to be pushing the limits of the series' fanservice, which is honestly amazing.

The new character is Hatsuayu Uka, a member of the City Hall Tourism Economy Division. She struggles with her ability to communicate with others due to extreme shyness. After seeing how easily Kinme talks to total strangers, Uka asks for her help in overcoming this limitation.

Nice resort to be honest, wonder how much it would cost to go there...

The two bond and begin visiting public baths together discussing on what is the best way to relate to other people, which leads Uka to suggest Kinme for a City Hall swimsuit photoshoot. Kinme is reluctant at first, but the lure of free advertising in a newspaper for her business is too strong to resist.

The entire episode can be summarized as follows: onsen, public bath, swimsuit photoshoot, and then the onsen again. As you can imagine, I took about 30 screenshots during the episode, and it was seriously difficult to choose only five to add to this article.

This was probably the scene that you could most easily define as "mood" for the series. Kinme is beautiful even when she's just looking at the scenery alone... View video page

There is a unique quality to this series as it dances between three themes: slice of life, cuteness, and sexiness. It manages to balance them perfectly without leaning too far into any single category. It is cute without being childish, hot without being vulgar, and slice of life without being mundane. It is a great balance.

One important scene, which I have attached to this post, shows Kinme staring silently at the scenery in a pensive state. Aside from the shot being extremely beautiful, my first thought was, "Is she trying to remember something?". Uka had the same thought and asked her, "Are you from here?" but the answer was no, her memory loss is still there.

Uka pleading is ultra cute and it's basically impossible to refuse her requests.

She's sinking! Uka is sinking Kinme, do something!

The next episode appears to be titled "Power Outage." How will Kinme manage to keep her business running if she loses power? Much of her cleaning process relies on devices that require electricity. Perhaps it is time for Kyuushou to come to the rescue with a portable generator?
