Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka Ep.10 - Asami come on! Some time with Uka
Episode 10 of Kirei ni Shite Moraemasuka (Wash It All Away) delivers a relaxing episode divided into two segments. The first part covers the aftermath of the storm that caused significant damage to Kinme's house, and the second focuses on Uka’s friendship with Kinme.
Asami Yagara was prominently shown in this episode, clarifying her position in the story. It turns out she is an elementary school teacher, specifically Nairo's teacher, as explained in a brief scene. She was also the source of the now-obligatory hot scene of the episode (see the attached video) involving a "sumi ink" stain on her skirt.

I honestly like her quite a bit; she seems to be a level-headed adult who genuinely cares about Kinme despite their relationship being primarily that of a customer and a cleaner. Furthermore, she jumps at every opportunity to tease Kinme, which provides a good source of comedy in a series that otherwise has very little of it.
Kinme's past remains a black box that I am trying to piece together from the various crumbs left throughout the episodes. For example, we know that her entire shop is a space she is renting, but we do not know when this arrangement began. Was it before or after her memory loss? If it was before, the owner must know her, right? This makes me think it happened after, but that raises the question: why would someone lease a building to an amnesiac girl with no references?
The second half of the episode was dedicated to the newfound friendship between Uka and Kinme. Until now, we have mostly seen Kinme living for her cleaning business and not much else. Even when interacting with others, she remained distant and formal, as is expected in her line of work.
With Uka, however, she appears more relaxed in this episode. They spend time talking, playing with dogs, and eating paella together. In my opinion, this is progress. Even if Kinme never fully recovers her memories, she is making a new start surrounded by people who like her.

The next episode is titled "To Help This Little Guy Out," and I wonder who is speaking that line. The Japanese line is "kono ko no tame ni mo," which feels more like something a mother would say, but we know Kinme is not a parent. Is it just going to be another service request? With only two episodes remaining until the end of the show, I wonder if they will deliver something more significant instead.
