Kirio Fanclub Ep.10 - Whoa, Seira is going to save the day?! Kirio!

Episode 10 of Kirio Fanclub threw a curveball and completely solved the immediate issue between Aimi and Nami without significantly changing their relationship. I was honestly expecting it to last at least two episodes, but it was over in the very first minutes, leaving the rest of the episode for the usual routine.

We got a close-call love declaration from Nami; everyone knew what she was about to say, yet she didn't manage to muster the courage. Will she do it by the end of the season, or will it end with her feelings bottled up? Part of me would like to see Nami and Aimi become lovers, but then again, it wouldn't really fit the theme of the story.

If I didn't knew the context, I would find Nami and Aimi adorable here, but I do therefore...*looks away*

I was expecting more drama, but turns out it solved itself quickly and just with some awkwardness with Aimi

Another curveball was Seira, usually a joke character dedicated to stalking Aimi and Nami, switching her target to Kirio once she learned that he had left the club. She wasn't interested in him per se, but his being down means that Aimi and Nami will lose their target of attention.

The scene was mostly comedic, with Seira first investigating to learn what happened, then stalking him and finding him at night on the usual bench where he has been portrayed multiple times when he is feeling down. I didn't think much of it, as it was a recurring event and Seira was clearly playing around.

But Kirio's mental state was far worse than I imagined, and the words that came out of his mouth managed to make Seira act serious for once. Now she is the one searching and asking people around Kirio what happened, and this is probably the key that will involve Aimi and Nami.

How will they solve the situation, though? I can't see Kirio doing a 180° turn and becoming happy, but finding a way to move forward is necessary. I'm curious to see how they handle this, as it's quite a delicate subject; honestly, I would be at a bind myself regarding what to tell him to make him snap out of it.

Nami was so close! So close! And yet didn't manage to say it, I need to hear her saying it by the end of the season...

Seira being the MVP was something I was not expecting, she's the key to stop Kirio from doing something stupid.

The next episode will most likely be about Nami and Aimi's realization, thanks to Seira's meddling. Realizing that there's a huge problem will make them move forward, but how will they get closer to Kirio when he clearly rejected them in this episode when they asked to go out together?
