Kirio Fanclub Ep.11 - Now finale! Time to get back Kirio's smile!
Episode 11 of Kirio Fanclub set up everything for the grand finale, focusing on saving Kirio from his depression and hopefully restoring the smile that Aimi liked so much. This episode was a setup, but that doesn't mean it wasn't full of amazing moments, especially regarding the side characters.
Manda was especially remarkable here, both in the scene where Seira denied him information after a misunderstanding, and most importantly when he had his own 'crash-out' with Aimi, waking her up from her state of self-pity after Kirio rejected her outright in a rather emotional scene.

I wasn't expecting him to become the voice of reason, stating plainly that she was just repeating "me, me, me" instead of considering what Kirio was actually thinking or feeling. For a character who was introduced in such a comedic manner earlier in the series, that is quite some growth.
An interesting detail signaling how close we are to the end was Seira directly interacting with Nami and Aimi. Despite her stalker tendencies, she had never directly spoken with them before; however, the stakes were high enough that she had to break that rule to set the stage before Kirio could do something foolish.
Kirio's mental state has reached the peak of his depression, and he desperately needs someone to pull him out of that cycle. The real question is how Aimi and Nami will manage to do so. Their initial attempts to interact with him were failures, and they aren't fully aware of the situation that caused this in the first place either.
The other main story point involves Nami's feelings for Aimi; there were multiple instances in this episode where she was seconds away from revealing them before pivoting away or being interrupted. Will they actually address this before the end of the series? This is the sub-plot I'm most interested in, after all. Are we going to get yuri or not?!

The next episode is the final one, completing the adaptation, and I'm genuinely curious about how they'll wrap up the series. Will they leave it open-ended or attempt to resolve all the remaining story threads? I feel like that will be difficult unless they rush through them...
