Kirio Fanclub Ep.12 - Nami! You're such a good girl! The end!
Episode 12 of Kirio Fanclub completes the series with a wacky episode covering Kirio's depression and the love relationship between Aimi, Nami, and Kirio without ever becoming too serious, keeping the mood light even when addressing such serious and important themes. I'm honestly impressed by this series.
The episode continues right from where we left off, with Kirio falling down the rabbit hole of depression, slowly circling and going down and down. Aimi and Nami, however, have a plan; even without understanding the full gravity of what's happening, they are not going to stand by and do nothing when Kirio needs them.

Every single character (even some I barely recognize) makes an appearance and starts helping Kirio overcome the trauma. It was silly, and we all know it doesn't work like that. At the same time, I liked it; I don't need realism, I just needed a happy ending, and they delivered—that's all that matters right now.
The finale, with Nami showing her past and how she fell in love with Aimi, was amazing from start to finish. It highlighted her initial apathetic personality toward friends, how everything changed with Aimi bringing a different light into her life, and her time spent observing Aimi just as she observed Kirio.
Then came the courage to move forward and enter her life by faking being in love with Kirio and all the time they spent together. She didn't manage to actually say that she loved her in the end, but somehow it didn't hurt as much considering how Aimi refused to push her aside during the moment of the declaration to Kirio.
I've been surprised by this series. I picked it up just as a joke without expecting much out of it, and instead, it turned out to be one of the best series of the spring 2026 anime season, far better than many more anticipated series. It never entered masterpiece territory, but it managed to keep me glued to my chair every single week.

I'm not sure if the manga has extra content, and, honestly, I don't see myself spending time reading it as I have many other series to handle, but I may try and see if someone else read it and can give me some juicy spoilers. Now I really need to decide which series of the new season I'm going to watch...
