Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu Ep.13 - Yes, it's two cours! More Hana and Aria!
Episode 13 of *Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu* confirms that the series is going to be two seasons long and we're going to see more and more of our beloved characters. I was a bit worried because there wasn't enough time to close all the open threads, but this changes everything.
The storyline has shifted, and the focus is now entirely on the evil religion. Apparently, it's just another type of magic, but due to theological differences, they branched out and became known as "evil." They supposedly wanted to become gods themselves and committed various evil deeds, but things clearly aren't as black-and-white as Claude made them out to be.

The main point is Arc Turus's power to heal almost any injury, which is hard to reconcile with the idea of "evil" magic. I suspect they may have had an evil leader, but the magic itself is just another variety, similar to the others we have encountered so far. This aligns with "Ophiuchus" being the 13th zodiac sign.
The main thing that needs to be cleared up is how she returned after disappearing; according to Claude, she "died" that day, yet here she is. A key point is that she stopped using healing magic, as she didn't employ it at all during her battles against the students or Claude.
I have two speculations: either she lost her regenerative powers, or she is simply a clone or copy of the original Arc Turus. Either way, I hope they find a way to save her and make her a recurring heroine; perhaps she can "pay for her crimes" while wearing some cute clothes at the academy.
Another interesting detail from this episode was Arc Turus mentioning that both she and Claude are from the same group (the evil religion) and that he "betrayed" them. It could have been a lie told by the evil group to lure her in, but I feel that detail is far too precise to be ignored. There has to be some connection.

In the next episode, the focus will shift to the Leo household, with Spica working part-time as a maid for them. She needs money to buy an item required for her Virgo magic, which serves as a way to give Leo some spotlight, as she was essentially non-existent following her initial introduction.
I'm not a fan of her personality or her appearance, but I'm open to seeing if that changes as I get to know her better. Of course, someone seems to be plotting in the shadows again; I wonder who it could be. They wouldn't send another agent this quickly, would they?
