Marriagetoxin Ep.06 - Shiori's voice was amazing during that scene...
Episode 6 of Marriagetoxin completes the Ureshino Shiori story arc, and I have to say that she ended up being much better than I expected thanks to the final scenes. The story itself did not stray far from expectations: Gero uses his powers to one-up Genya Naruko's skills, and then Shiori has her own "badass" moment.
The first big highlight was when she wore the witch costume and started talking in front of the crowd; her voice was so different from the Shiori we have come to know until now and was genuinely much hotter. The "Flame Devil" line (see attached video) was particularly good.

The seiyuu is Asaki Yuikawa, and honestly, I have not heard of her at all. Apparently, she is going to appear in the upcoming new anime TV series of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha called Exceeds Gun Blaze Vengeance as Towa Yorumi, so that is something to look forward to.
Then we get the final scenes where Gero runs away, thinking she is too focused on her studies and her company to also care for marriage this early, but she instead chases him back and essentially confirms that she is very interested in him. In these final stages, Shiori felt different—in voice, acting, and visuals.
Of course, it was her trying to act out something she rehearsed, but damn, if that is what she is going to be like in a few years, Gero should start seriously considering her. I am still in the Kyouko camp, but I cannot say they are making it easier; now I am even more excited to see what personality the third heroine will have.
The next episode is titled "The Bug Master's Wedding," and it seems like one of Gero's "coworkers" is getting married, which is sort of a ritual for single people around his age as everyone starts to get married. Of course, it is less normal in this case, as we are talking about another "master."

Marriage in their line of work seems to be a very dangerous deal because, while the Master himself is strong enough, what happens to the wife once she is alone and he is out on a mission? That feels like a perfect target for kidnapping and using as leverage against him. I doubt they will go too hard, though; I guess it will be a sort of intermission event before introducing the third heroine, Kimie Arashiyama.
