Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka Ep.02 - Nairo sure know how to control Kinme!
I just finished watching the second episode of Kirei ni Shite Moraemasuka / Wash It All Away (綺麗にしてもらえますか). Honestly, it is easily taking the crown for the most relaxing anime series of this season, at least so far. There is something about the atmosphere of the series that really just makes you smile.
In this episode, the focus is mainly on two things. The first is Kinme's inability to resist the temptations that arise during her daily life at work, whether it is buying snacks on the way back to the shop or accepting a delicious treat from the grandmother of a little customer.

Kinme is incredibly cute with her facial expressions as she gets thrown around by circumstances. I have to say that I am really loving her, both for her personality and her looks. The scene in the bathtub after she was invited over was... quite hot, admittedly.
We also got a small segment with the high school boy from the previous episode, Kyuushou Ichimochi (nicknamed Kyu by his mother). He seems quite interested in Kinme after learning about her memory problems, but I am still not sure what kind of role he will play in the story. The sites I checked marked him as a "main character," but he does not seem like one so far.
The second part of the episode is about a little girl named Neiro, who is introduced along with her mother when they come to clean a shirt that the girl dirtied by drawing on it. The girl seems very interested in Kinme's work and asks if she can stand next to her for a while to learn more and take notes.
Kinme goes into detail about some of the cleaning processes she uses, and honestly, it was interesting to learn, as I really know nothing about this job. Hopefully, they will do more of these small segments in the future, covering other specific actions that Kinme takes while working.

We also got confirmation that Kinme's memories are gone, and she literally only started remembering things from two years ago. It seems like this is only a partial memory loss because all her memories related to keeping the business running are still perfectly intact. However, she does not remember anything about her family.
Now, it seems like the focus will be on restoring that old poster seen in Neiro's grandmother's house. Will she manage to fix it and all the other clothes she was entrusted with? Will they explain more about the item's history or past? It clearly has to be connected to her late husband, so...

Either way, Kirei ni Shite Moraemasuka continues to be a great series, and I am looking forward to more next week.
