Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka Ep.11 - Kinme and Nairo adventure in the closet!

Episode 10 of Kirei ni Shite Moraemasuka (Wash It All Away) is another interesting episode divided into two segments wildly different. The first block is centered on Kyuushou's life at home and at school, to the point where I eventually wondered if Kinme was even going to appear or if he had become the new protagonist.

I laughed at the scene where Kyuushou runs away after a gust of wind reveals Kinme's underwear (see the attached video). What is he doing? She is the one who is supposed to be embarrassed, not him. I do not think that sprinting away from her is going to leave a great impression.

This scene was ultra cute with Nairo dreaming about what magical thing she's going to find in that closet.

Kinme, are you my master? No wait, that was another different anime series.

I am sure this will be a point of discussion in next week's episode, because Kinme will likely think she did something wrong to make him resent her. It reminds me of the near-miss kiss from a few episodes ago. She is quick to jump to conclusions, while he is really just a flustered teenager running away from the woman he is infatuated with.

The second part of the episode focuses on a small adventure involving Kinme and Nairo. After the usual photo session for social media, the two decide to open a closet that has been closed since Kinme took over the cleaning business, and they find a teddy bear that had been entrusted to the previous owner.

The subtitles are technically wrong here, she meant 'I like that part of you', but they phrased it in a way to show almost like she's declaring to him. There's many of these issues in recent subtitles... View video page

Together, they work to clean the bear and return it to the original customer. They even start a social media page to try and find the owner, though it is a complicated task considering how many years have passed and the fact that the phone numbers found in the envelope no longer work.

The final episode is titled "Local Cleaning with a Heart". Given the generic title, it seems like it will simply serve as a conclusion to the series by showcasing the various characters. It will likely leave things open for a potential sequel or encourage people to read the manga, which is complete with ten volumes.

A priceless smile from Kinme. Love how they keep giving new expressions unique to each episode.

Kuriru understood the situation with Kyuushou very well, but she's keeping it to herself.

I am interested in giving the manga a chance just to see if they follow through and reveal more about Kinme's past and how the romance subplot concludes. I will try to read it once I have some time, though it may be a few months before I can post an update about it here.
