Kirio Fanclub Ep.05 - Tashiro Seira is quite a fun character too!
Episode 5 of Kirio Fanclub introduces a new character named Tashiro Seira, who was initially shown as a shadowy figure recording the two main heroines, Eimi and Nami, singing their hilarious song about their love for Kirio. At first, I thought she was going to be an antagonist, but those turned out to be false worries.
Seira is, to put it simply, a fan of Nami and Eimi, and she is actually quite a fun character. She puts on a facade of being a normal manager for the club, but when she is alone, she plays games on her phone, makes strange faces, and, most importantly, stalks Nami and Eimi and their obsession with Kirio.

The episode was mostly about her, narrated partially from her point of view, and it provided a refreshing, light-hearted tone compared to last week. The moment where she showed the full list of photos and recordings she took of them in various rooms of the school was both scary and hilarious.
I mean, the episode title was "May I Stan you?" which should tell you everything about her personality. Plus, she seems to be playing a soccer gacha game and was ultra-excited about a new scene being released. I can understand that feeling, even if my tastes are quite different.
As I said, it’s incredible how this series keeps jumping between comedy and drama each episode—sometimes within the same episode—while still managing to keep the overall theme consistent. I’m curious to see where it goes from here; we’re roughly halfway through the series, and it’s about time for them to start revealing more about the backstories.
One thing I’ve been thinking about is that both Satsuki and Hayato showed some level of worry toward Kirio early in the series, which makes me assume they know the full situation with his lover who died in the hospital. But at the same time, they seem to know something about Eimi and Nami, too. Just how complicated is this situation?

The scene (see attached video) with Nami and Eimi doing the ritual at night, with Manda using a water pump to water them while they chant the opposite of what they want, was absolutely hilarious. Especially when Manda realized he picked the wrong day and the full moon was actually the day after.
