Psycho Pass S2 - They are literally everywhere! Just how long...

Got around to watching episodes 6 and 7 of Psycho-Pass Season 2 and whoa, the reveal was absolutely fantastic. I was expecting him to have collaborators, but I would have never imagined for his web of connections to spread all around the country and even within the institutions related to the government.

The story continues from where we left off, with Akane having to fend off an army of drones controlled by random citizens under the pretense of a game. While they manage to contain the situation, Kamui still gets enough room to kill multiple Enforcers and steal their Dominator guns.

This is all preparation for a plan to assault something or someone, as he managed to get control of a Dominator by using the eye of the missing Inspector Shisui. I am guessing their target is the Sibyl System just like in the first season, but after so many revelations, I am not sure anymore.

At the same time, we get the confirmation that Kirito Kamui was the only survivor of an incident long ago and all the collaborators wear the face (via holograms) of one of the victims of that incident. The real question is, though, what was the incident really about? Because this smells of a massive cover-up by the Sibyl System over something they were trying to hide.

This also connects with Sakuya Togane, as the incident is linked to the foundation he was involved with. This puts in question if he is really an ally against Kamui or just someone with his own agenda who joined the Enforcers just as a way to stalk Akane day and night.

Mika Shimotsuki is still the same annoying character (though admittedly a few of her scenes in this episode were quite cute), but at least she managed to get enough information for us to learn more about Togane. He seems to be stalking Akane every single day and recording her Psycho-Pass score. Apparently, his goal is to make her Psycho-Pass worsen.

An important detail is that the Sibyl System doesn't seem to care if lethal force (without the Dominator gun, as it can't identify Kamui at all) is used to eliminate Kamui. This makes me wonder if they actually know who he is and are just hiding the info because revealing it is not beneficial to them.

Joji Saiga continues to be the coolest character of the season, continuously predicting the enemy's actions and formulating hypotheses that turn out to be spot on. Plus, the seiyuu Kazuhiro Yamaji did an amazing job portraying his attitude. To think he is the same guy that voiced the elegant Headmaster Henry Henderson from Spy x Family...

I am looking forward to continuing as we are getting near the climax. This second season is just 11 episodes after all, so things are bound to explode soon.
