Watashi no Tame ni Nuginasai (わたしのために脱ぎなさいっ！) is a manga series written and illustrated by Kurou. It started serializing in 2017 and currently has 9 volumes published. At the moment, I have read the first 7 of them, but I plan on catching up soon.

The series follows the shy Ninose Shizuku as she struggles to survive through her job drawing adult-oriented manga, since she has no other source of income or parents to rely on. Up to now, she used herself as a model, but the editor wants her to expand the body types (as she is small and flat) to cover a bigger interest base. This creates a massive problem for her as she has no model to use for it.

Of course, no one actually knows how she makes a living, so she is kind of stuck until she stumbles into Shirakawa Kokona, a fellow high school student with an extremely adult figure. Thanks to her help as a model, Shizuku manages to break out of her slump and add new characters to her story.

This is only the starting point, though. Shizuku starts to get involved with more and more people at school in her journey to survive and make a living. All the while, she tries to hide from Kokona the fact that she is drawing that kind of art so she doesn't disappoint her.

As you can see, the art is downright amazing and it leans heavily into fanservice. This is, of course, expected as the series is focused on this genre, and the author manages to deliver it perfectly. All the girls are really attractive, unique, and interesting.

The main characters (aside from Shizuku) are:

Shirakawa Kokona

Shizuku's classmate. She possesses a figure beyond typical high schoolers. She is rumored to be promiscuous, but she is actually a genuinely innocent girl who has no idea about anything of the sort. She likes Shizuku a lot and wants to help her, even though she doesn't fully understand what she is doing at times.

Miyake Karin

Shizuku's classmate. She is a fan of magical girl shows, but after being called childish by other people, she decides to "graduate" from those and try to act more adult by faking being into multiple relationships. She really has no experience of any kind, making her think Shizuku is the experienced one instead. This causes a misunderstanding where Karin relies on Shizuku as a mentor.

Iwakura Kotone

Shizuku's classmate. She serves as both class representative and a discipline committee member, which makes her look like a serious student. Unfortunately, that is all a facade; she is deeply interested in sexual knowledge. She strikes a deal with Shizuku to get items provided by her editor in exchange for overlooking her tardiness.

Sayama Hazuki

Shizuku's classical Japanese teacher. She is a newly hired teacher who still cosplays under the name "HADUKI☆" in her free time, even though she is hiding it from students and fellow teachers alike. After getting exposed by Shizuku, she drags her into the world of cosplay too.

Ichijouji Mayu

Shizuku's classmate. She has a childlike physique and is even shorter than Shizuku. She belongs to the Manga Research Club and, to gather material for the yuri manga she is writing, she demands some pictures of Shizuku and Kokona to use as reference. She knows Shizuku writes manga, but she believes it is all-ages erotic manga.

My favorite character is definitely the protagonist, Shizuku. It is rare for me to actually like the protagonist of a series, but the gap between Shizuku's struggle to make a living while fighting with her urges to undress Kokona is extremely funny to read.

The series doesn't take itself too seriously and doesn't shy away from creating hilariously crazy situations. I really loved the chapter where Kokona's mother starts competing with her daughter to get Shizuku's attention as an artist. It was hilarious seeing Kokona go into panic mode because she didn't want to lose to her mom.

Kokona is slowly growing feelings for Shizuku as the story goes and I wonder if they're actually going to become lovers at some point in the future before the end of the series. I think we're getting there considering the last few developments, but there's still a bit of resistance...

If you like ecchi series, this is a must-read that will keep you entertained for quite a while. I really need to get to read the other volumes and catch up to the story now...
