Yowayowa Sensei Vol 13,14 - Akihito fighting back! Tsubatani Tsukushi arrives!
I just completed volumes 13 and 14 of Yowayowa Sensei (よわよわ先生). Hiyori is starting to feel the pressure from the attention Akihito is showing her, which is important considering there is only one in-story year remaining before he graduates high school. At the same time, we get a new character and a lot of mindless fun as usual.
The new character introduced is a girl named Tsubatani Tsukushi. She joins after learning about the photography club during an advertising speech by Yuuki Yukishita. She is a much-needed addition considering that Kaya has graduated and is now a university student, meaning her screen time has been massively reduced.
Tsukushi is a cosplay enthusiast and fits quite well in the club, adding more variety to the costumes the girls wear during the various ecchi scenes. Kaya and Yuuki did a great job up until now, but considering their perverted tendencies, the results could often barely be classified as clothes anymore.
As I mentioned earlier, Hiyori is starting to realize Akihito's feelings now that he is being more direct. She is incredibly flustered and unable to decide what to do. So far, she is just trying to ignore the fact, but as he becomes more proactive and reliable, she is forced to think about it.
Could this be the "beginning of the end," with the story progressing toward its conclusion? I would not be surprised after so many volumes. Or is it just another story arc that will be undone later? Hiyori does not seem entirely against it, so things could move naturally in that direction at this point.
Oh, and we got to see the "berserker" mode of Akihito's sister in this volume too. Yuuki triggered it after asking to be pampered too much, and she was unable to escape her caring clutches. Akihito had to intervene and become a sacrificial pawn for a night to save Yuuki from her.
At the very end of the 14th volume, we also get the bombshell that they are going on a school trip. The group will be composed of Akihito, Mizuki, Erika, Yuuki, and Masakuni. Except for Yuuki (who is just enjoying the upcoming chaos), the other three girls are all planning to do something with Akihito.
Mizuki is going with her usual "gonna make him fall in love with me" plan. Erika, who usually hate males, is more focused on "I want to understand why I don't feel bad when touching him compared to other males". Masakuni, on the other hand, wants to do "dokidoki exercises" with him to be able to talk better with everyone else. Add Hiyori to the mix, and we are bound to get lots of crazy scenes.
I look forward to reading the 15th volume, which should allow me to finally catch up to the series and start the waiting game for new content like everyone else.
