Yuusha-kei ni Shosu Ep.07 - Frenci Mastibolt is really beautiful
Episode 7 of Sentenced to Be a Hero: The Prison Records of Penal Hero Unit 9004 begins a new story arc centered on Spriggan, a Demon Lord who can take human form and has infiltrated the city where Xylo and the others are currently stationed. He must be the Demon Lord who managed to convert some humans to the idea of co-existence.
This information was delivered to us by Xylo's fiancée, Frenci Mastibolt, who is an extremely attractive woman wearing an Oriental costume. Honestly, she is the best-looking member of the current female cast. Her introduction explains why Xylo was so reluctant to ask the Mastibolt family for help during the previous story arc.

Her personality is blunt and direct with Xylo, which seems to work well in terms of their chemistry. It is unclear if this is a new personality or if she was like this before the incident that made Xylo a Hero. She doesn't seem fazed by his status as a Hero and is actively working to secure his redemption so he can return to being a normal citizen and marry her.
Both Teoritta and Kivia feel threatened by her presence, as they likely thought they were the only ones interested in him. Having an opponent who has known him for years and shares memories with him will be a difficult challenge to overcome, perhaps even more so than fighting the Demon Lords.
As Xylo, Teoritta, and Kivia were moving through the city, they were attacked by a mysterious group of individuals trying to kill the Goddess. They are led by a strange man named Boojum and the female adventurer Shiji Bau. Boojum seems to know Xylo and is extremely strong and agile in battle.
Since he was completely unharmed by heavy dragon fire and Teoritta felt no limitations while fighting him, it is clear that he is not human. Xylo suspects he is Spriggan, the Demon Lord, but he could also be another entity entirely, as the restrictions on the Goddesses only apply to fighting humans.

While Boojum is a valid target for Teoritta, his followers are human, which makes things much more complicated for Xylo and the others. This is especially true given the city environment, which is unsuitable for large-scale spells that could cause collateral damage to the population.
In the next episode, we will likely begin to investigate and learn more about this faction collaborating with the Demon Lord, though I don't expect a resolution just yet. Their influence seems to be deeply rooted in the city, and I wonder how many politicians are also linked to them.
