Yuusha no Kuzu Ep.24 - Whoa, Lord Storm Coffin as a part time?! Perfection!

Episode 24 of Yuusha no Kuzu completes the adaptation with a final talk with Arthur Pendragon regarding what really happened with Ishinoo and Yashiro's feelings toward him. Yashiro's dialogue leaning in the emotional and idealistic hero, mimicking what Aki had been saying to him all along, served as a fitting conclusion to his arc.

I honestly thought that was it, with the three heroines appearing at the cafe and shaking up the usual dynamics we had grown accustomed to over these 24 episodes. However, I was wrong; while they were hanging out, Yashiro called for the "part-timer," and who came out to answer?

Her unimpressed face is gorgeous, hopefully she can become a regular even without her demon lord powers.

Best wife right here. Lord Storm Coffin is just way too gorgeous to leave alone. Marry her!

Yes, Lord Storm Coffin is no longer a demon lord, but a normal woman working as a part-timer at the same place where Yashiro hangs out. She has essentially entered "heroine territory," and she looks absolutely outstanding, making me like her even more than when she was a lord.

She has shifted from a crazed maniac trying to take control over the world to a bored, unimpressed adult, and it is hilarious how well that fits her personality. Plus, she has that "homely" feel in that outfit. I was already happy she survived, but this? This goes one step beyond; truly an amazing job.

Just look at her! Her voice! Her looks! Lord Storm Coffin is just way too perfect in this new role. Marry her already Yashiro! View video page

We also see glimpses of the other characters, and one who particularly surprised me (see attached screenshot) is Levi. She looks much healthier in the image, she looks like a different person entirely. What exactly happened to make her look so well? Did she stop using E3?

My issue now is that the story wraps up so perfectly that I wonder if there is a sequel, or if the novel simply covers this story and moves on. Aki's past is resolved, the identity of the Half Dragon is revealed, and Yashiro no longer seems interested in getting revenge. So, what would be the new game?

Is this Levi? Honestly looks amazing, but I wonder because she looks so different. Way more...healthier?

A final look at our three heroines Yukine, Aki and Seira. What awaits them in the future is unknown...

I'll keep an eye out in the coming months to see if we get more volumes of the novel or if it ends with this story arc. Hopefully it continues, perhaps focusing on something else. It would be a shame to waste the characters we have grown to love over these past months.
