ZZZ 3.1 Patch Story - Serpico and Truvia are a mystery. Remielle Dan!
Patch 3.1 of ZZZ was released just a few hours ago, coinciding with the third anniversary celebrations and the release of the much-awaited Void Hunter, Remielle Dan. The story was one of the most action-packed we've received recently, and, honestly, it was a huge step up compared to the content from the 2.x series.
The story continues from where we left off, with Remielle showing up and asking for our collaboration on some research. It turns out she had been hiding under everyone's noses with the Ehn-Na Gang, a group of Bangboo who don't believe the current three "Sunbringers" are the real ones. I actually like the "hidden camp" feeling I got from Remielle's room.

At the same time, ghosts of the past arrive to visit Belle; Truvia, one of their friends from their time at Helios Academy, arrives at Roscaelifer. This is traumatic, as she was very close to Serpico, who died in the fateful accident that Belle seems to blame on herself. She seems cool, but there is something suspicious about her presence.
Especially considering we see Serpico alive and well at the end of the patch story, talking to her while she is in a comatose state. Who is that Serpico? He surely can't be the original, as Belle and Wise are certain he died that day. Does that mean he's a clone or something? Or could Belle and Wise's memories not be as reliable as we think? I'm starting to think that the latter might be more realistic here...

Speaking of which, Dracaene Sunbringer (also jokingly known as Lolibringer) was corrupted by Girtablullu and ended up trying to murder Belle before stabbing Truvia. It turns out all three Sunbringers hold a fragment of the original Enchanter and are at risk of transforming if the corruption expands.
The situation regarding Dracaene was solved thanks to Remielle's efforts, but I wonder how long it will be before the other two turn as well. It's also interesting to note that Remielle keeps lying to Belle about the true identity of the Sunbringers. She told her that they might be "living void hunter weapons," but then denied that to the other group stalking her. What exactly does she know?

This group stalking her is probably the biggest question mark of the entire patch. There is a third-party faction following the group at all times, yet no one has been able to detect it. To make matters worse, they seem powerful enough that Remielle has given up on escaping their watch.
On a more relatable/lighthearted side, Sigrid is actually kind of silly. We all know her serious guard personality, but when she pulled out a bear costume for Remielle and Belle to sneak into the Hollow, I chuckled. But then she revealed it's her own personal property, which is hilarious. How does she use it exactly? Cosplay?

Next patch, the focus will probably shift to the other two Sunbringers who still hold the parts of Girtablullu. I'm sure Belle is due for a talk with Lindverne, who seems to be the most approachable of the three. It's inevitable that more pieces will be stolen and integrated with Bashmu.
