Seihantai na Kimi to Boku Ep.02 - Yuusuke and Miyu are so embarrassing and cute to watch.

Episode 2 of the anime series Seihantai na Kimi to Boku (正反対な君と僕) continues with relatively small developments, but extreme cuteness. The two protagonists, Miyu Suzuki and Yuusuke Tani, are now officially a couple, even though it is the first relationship for both of them, so they don't really know what to do.

As I mentioned in the previous post, now it will be all about finding their boundaries, and it seems like they are already working on that. Miyu makes the first move by asking to walk home from school together. It was quite a cute experience watching Miyu's internal monologue as she went through it.

Training arc when? She needs a training arc and a teacher to become the ultimate girlfriend!

Miyu's facial expressions are still the thing that makes up for half of the series comedy.

Miyu was having trouble finding the right way to talk to him (she even started reading a guide that her classmate suggested to her). However, judging by Tani's phone, it looks like he had exactly the same thoughts as her. I mean, considering they never really had any type of connection up until now, it is kind of reasonable.

It is not like they went from friends to a couple in a natural way; they literally know NOTHING about each other aside from the small, one-sided banter that Miyu directed at him over the months. To be honest, it is hard to even call it love, as there is literally nothing connecting the two in a solid way.

I am curious if they will address that in future episodes or keep the "love at first sight" dynamic for the entire series. I mean, I cannot complain because Miyu is carrying the show hard with her facial expressions and comedy scenes. Still, I would like to reach the end of the series happy to say, "Oh, they are a nice couple."

Now the question is: what will happen in the next episode? They held hands (first episode), walked home together from school (second episode), and had a date (second episode). I guess it is time for one of them to visit the other's house to study or something? I feel like a first kiss is still far away considering the pace.

Either way, I am looking forward to seeing where the story goes next episode. I am interested in seeing more of the classmates' stories (as hinted in the OP sequence), even if it will have to wait a bit until the main couple becomes a bit more stable.
