Alvis appearance in Last Exile Ginyoku no Fam
Was just watching a few more episodes of Last Exile Ginyoku no Fam and...Alvis is here? Alvis is here!
Alvis was honestly not a greatly developed character in the first season, she worked more as a plot device than as a character standing on her own. At least compared to what the other characters went through. Tatiana, Klaus, Alex, all had way more development and way more depth than her, maybe also due to the fact that she was a child back then.
Hopefully this series can give her a bit more of a personality.
Completed Uchi ha Mou Enki Dekinai
As you might’ve seen from the blog, I finally finished Uchi wa Mou, Enki Dekinai, which meant it was time to decide what VN to dive into next. After thinking about it for a bit, I ended up going back to one I had started a while ago but never properly finished: Mirai Radio to Jinkou Bato. I figured it deserved another look, especially now that I’m in the right mood for something more story-focused. I’ve included an example video scene below, just to give an idea of the atmosphere.
Genre-wise, it leans into mystery and science fiction, with a clear emphasis on time travel elements. I’m still not sure how deep it’s going to go with those concepts, or whether they’ll stay more on the surface.
Sayaka delivering hard truths
Some hard truths being spoken by Sayaka, the last heroine I’m pursuing in Uchi wa Mou, Enki Dekinai. That feeling of disappointment she talks about really hits, especially when things don’t go as planned in a series you’ve just started and were genuinely excited about.
So many series begin with an amazing premise, full of potential, and then slowly lose themselves in unnecessary details without ever fully exploring what made them interesting in the first place. And don’t even get me started on titles that nail a fantastic common route, only to completely drop the ball once you get into the heroine-specific stories.
Dailyn Trailer PV Release
The ZZZ trailer of Dialyn is out and the hype is real for her release next wednesday. The trailer seems to show more of her job which doesn't seem to be completely on the "white" side to be honest despite targeting a criminal.
Apparently she's part of the enforcing part of the TOPS so she's definitely going to be a tough cookie to crack, but surely Belle can make her fall in love as usual!
I've also had a look at the leaks around her skills ingame and she seems to have the ability to activate the super moves of other characters whenever her mechanic bar fills. That's huge if used with some character with strong super moves as it skips the entire "collect enough energy" part.
Lemix Farming, Xavius all days!
Almost done with the Lemix farming in WoW, probably just another week or so of daily raids and I'll probably stop doing it altogether and go back to retail. It has been a long journey to clear all the things you could possibly buy from the store to be honest.
Though admittedly it was a fun run, I never got to experience Legion back when it first dropped in WoW, so being able to see it through a quicker experience was really enjoyable. Now we need Shadowlands Remix and Warlord of Draenor remix I guess? Both seems to be full of stuff to collect...
School art for Amphoreus cast!
I just spotted this in the wild on the internet, apparently a new official art from the Star Rail team focused on showing how the Amphoreus characters would look in a traditional romantic comedy setting in Japan.
Damn, now I really want a school spin-off for the characters of Amphoreus in some form. Aglaea and Cypher really look like a yuri couple there (their story was one of the best of the chapter). Plus adult Tribbie is there too, maybe acting as a teacher?
Now we just need Stelle and March to join as a transfer students and then...romcom!
Time Management for Events
If there's one thing that I really hate is my time management when it comes to gacha games events. I'm almost always at the very end of the time period trying to rush the the events because of procrastination. It can get overwhelming when you have more than 4-5 gacha games to follow at the same time.
Genshin has been quite lenient on this because usually events give you large time windows to complete, but other games are way more strict (some even require you to do things daily to complete the event).
This event was focused on Faruzan, one of my most liked characters from the Sumeru part of the story. It's always nice to see these "fake obaachan" talking.
Versapura Journal Start Release when?
This will be the main journal where I'll talk about Versapura, the new game announced from Hoyoverse. The first preview (that looks like a technical demo) really looks stunning in both animation and character design. I wonder how long it'll take before we'll get it released...
It's probably a few years away considering that this is just sort of an advertising to hire new people to work on it. 2028 maybe?
Not that we lack lots of other games to look forward in the meantime though. It's a busy world for us gacha gamers.
Beginning of a new adventure with my journals!
Rawr! Still honing out the details of this page so expect more changes as it goes. The final idea is to have a twitter-like interface where I can freely talk about the things I do (games, light novels, manga, anime, visual novels, gacha) as I'm doing them instead of waiting for the final review in the main blog. Not sure yet what level of detail I'm looking at, but it should still have a basic structure with title/content with some interesting insights on the series I'm following.
I'll probably pack it up for today though as it's getting late and I have dailies to do.
Hello World in this new Journal Section
Hello world! This is the very first post on this stream sub-page. Here I’ll be a bit more free to share smaller thoughts and quick impressions, instead of the longer, more structured posts you’ll find on the main website. Think of this space as a live feed of ideas, fresh thoughts coming straight from my mind as I go through my content and whatever I’m currently reading, watching, or playing.
It’ll probably take quite a few iterations before this page really feels “right,” so bear with me while I tweak and update things over time to better express what I want this space to be. For now, here’s a CG from Uchi wa mou Enki Dekinai, which I’m still reading, added as a little celebration for the launch of this page.
